Have you met anyone whom you only met for one moment but cannot forget about?
In my twenties (quite a long time ago), I was crying alone outside the office building as I encountered something very unreasonable at work and rushed out of the room.
As I was sobbing loudly, a middle-aged woman on a bicycle stopped and talked to me while everyone else just passed by me.
The woman said, "What happened? What's the problem?"
I said, "Oh…Ah…I mean…." I couldn't speak well because I was crying too hard.
She kindly encouraged me by saying, "It's okay. You'll be fine."
Probably, I assume it was just for a minute or two.
During that time, she stayed next to me until I calmed myself down a little.
"Ah…un, thank…you." I expressed my thanks to her with my straining voice.
She replied in a strong voice, "Don't worry! Something good will happen! OK? Hang in there!" And she left me with a smile.
Even now, I feel warm inside whenever I recall the moment.
Thank you for your kindness back then, Ms. unknown lady.
As you taught me, I have experienced many wonderful things in my life thus far.
As I get older, I've become stronger and am not as naive to shed such pure tears as before.
But still, I remember your words of encouragement when I feel discouraged.
And now, I think to myself that it is my turn to encourage young people.
Like this,"Don't worry, Something good will happen!"
