こんにちは。お元気ですか？
１２月も後半、栃木は晴天だけど、乾燥した強烈な「からっ風」の季節になりました～寒っ！！
そうそう、この前、とっても嬉しいことがあったんです♪
８０歳の母は、趣味の合唱サークルに入っているのですが、先日、その発表会があり、せっかくなので、私はその様子を動画撮影に行きました。
実は、母は今年の春、ひどい鬱に悩まされ、家に引きこもり、とてもコーラスどころではなく、
やせ細り、私はとても心配していました。
もしかして、体調もこのままどんどん悪くなってしまうのかしら・・・と。
けれど有難いことにその後、夏以降、徐々に改善！！
最近では、またコーラスの練習にも参加できるようになり、発表会にも参加してみる！という程までに回復したのです♪
私は、母がまた歌えるようになったことがとても嬉しくて、
その発表会には、是非、母の動画を撮影して、思い出に残そう！！と出かけていきました。
そして発表会の会場で、私が動画撮影し始めたら・・・
他のメンバーの方々が、「これ、動画？」「YouTubeにのせるの？」って、ウキウキして話しかけてきたのです。
母だけを撮影するつもりだったのですが、せっかく母がお世話になってるグループの皆様なので、
そのコーラスの方々も合わせて、全体を撮影し、ちょっと素敵に編集してYouTubeにアップ（限定公開）して、さしあげたところ・・・
すると、皆さんが、私が想像する以上に、とっても喜んでくださったのです～(^^)/
良い記念になった！とか、家族にも見せる！とか。
スマホで写真を撮る事はよくあるけど、動画、特に編集した動画に映るというのは、なかなか機会がないのかもしれないですね。
コーラスの皆さんに、喜んでいただけて本当に嬉しかったです！
貴重な一瞬、時間を捉えて、永遠に残せる動画。
素晴らしいな～、これからも機会あるごとに動画とって編集して・・・って、続けていきたいな～と、改めて嬉しく思った出来事でした☆
そういえば、林家パー子は、いつもカメラを片手に、パシャパシャとっていたけど・・・
私もパー子さんみたく、いつもアイフォン片手に、動画を撮るおばさんになりそう（笑）

I had a really happy experience recently!
My 80-year-old mother is part of a choir club as a hobby.
Not long ago, they had a recital, so I thought it would be great to go and film the event.
Actually, this spring, my mother was suffering from severe depression. She stayed at home all the time and wasn't in any state to sing in the choir. She had lost a lot of weight, and I was very worried about her. I even wondered if her health might continue to decline.
But thankfully, things started to improve after the summer! Gradually, she began to get better. Recently, she's been able to participate in choir practices again, and she even decided to take part in the recital!
I was so happy to see my mother able to sing again. I decided to film the recital to keep as a memory.
And then, when I started filming at the venue...
The other choir members got excited and started asking me, 'Is this a video? Are you going to post it on YouTube?'"
I had originally planned to film only my mother, but I decided to film everyone in the choir. I edited the video nicely and uploaded it to YouTube as an unlisted video, then shared it with them.
To my surprise, everyone was even happier than I had imagined! They said it was a wonderful keepsake and that they would show it to their families.
Taking photos with a smartphone is quite common, but having the chance to be in a video, especially an edited one, might not come often. I was truly happy that everyone in the choir enjoyed it!
